“ This a great simple breakfast or lunch option. It's tasty, welcoming, fast and the coffee is very good. I'm so happy to have a quick option that isn't your typical fast-food chain! ”
“ I used to live in Derry and loved this place. If I'm in town and they're open, I still go. Love the bagels, but if you've got A Big Day ahead, like helping a friend move or something where you need energy for a long time, go omelette and English muffin. And yes, the owner is surly. That's his vibe. It's not personal, and frankly, he's earned it. Everyone else there is really nice, and he doesn't mean anything by it. Food's worth it. It's a quiet little diner with a quirky aesthetic, good food, great prices. Literally the only "negative" thing I can say is that the tea selection is very utilitarian. Lipton tea bag kinda stuff. Not bad, it'll get you through, but compared to their coffee assortment, it's a bit lackluster. Love this place and I'll see them for breakfast happily again. ”
“ The best Bagels in New Hampshire!!! My friends from New Jersey love to go there when up here!! ”
“ I showed up four minutes before they closed on a Sunday, they happily helped me out. It was my first time so I just grabbed a plain bagel with plain cream cheese and a muffin to go. I ordered an extra plain bagel to take with me and I'm so glad I did! This is the best bagel I've had outside of Brooklyn. I will be traveling back to Derry to stock up very soon! ”
“ The best place in the area for breakfast, fresh hot coffee, with many flavors to choose, iced too. Excellent breakfast at reasonable prices, bagels are what a bagel should be, soft on the inside and hard on the out. This place does it right and the staff are super friendly. I wish I lived close to this place, I'd become a regular. ”
“ This is the place to go for a legit Brooklyn Bagel Breakfast (try saying THAT 3 times fast) for a legit low price. Today, I paid a mere $30 for myself and two other people for arguably the tastiest breakfast a person can get in this small town; rivaled only by MaryAnn's, of course. So, imagine my surprise upon looking this place up on Yelp only to discover the number of photos was criminally lacking, the number of reviews severely underwhelming. Conclusion? Not enough people know about this place. But as they say in the south, "They gon' learn t'day!" It's a hole-in-the-wall place. The best kind. Humble, quaint, simple, fresh, and it's been here for over 20 years. I know...because I've been dining infrequently at this place for just as long. Look, it's probably obvious to some of you by now that I have a long history here in the Granite state. So, yeah...I speak with some bias. Simultaneously, certain places just...stick out for their own respective reasons. Brooklyn Bagel House has always had that certain homely style of breakfast/lunch you can only experience in New England. Basically, when you eat here, it feels like you're eating food from someone's home kitchen. And that's the point. Nothing here is ever half-assed. Even the coffee is stellar. I mean, did you see the picture? The selection is practically boundless. I have two favorite dishes here: the bacon, egg n' cheese bagel, and pretty much any of the two egg combos with either bacon or corned beef hash, depending on how I'm feeling that day. This place is small and tucked away. But it's a highpoint when visiting Derry. I'd recommend it to pretty much everyone that happens by this area. And BBH is easily worth 5 plates of freshly cooked two egg specials with savory breakfast meats out of 5. ”
